Maya Deren

I've become enthralled with Maya Deren and her haunting films. As a dancer, poet, writer and photographer, she put all of her incredible creative skill into her avante-garde films. She takes the real world and represents it in the way in which she perceives it. She was incredibly beautiful inside and out. Her art is amazing and a huge inspiration.

Epitome of Me

I've been pretty obsessed with this photo ever since I came across it. I love the way she's smiling/crying, polar opposite emotions; aka Megan Parsons; therefore I had to recreate it. Thanks for your help dillicon <3

DIY: Collar

I came across an oversized blouse with the coolest embellished collar I couldn't pass up. I cut off the collar an inch or so from the seam (make sure you don't cut at the seam or the collar looks unfinished.) Tuck the leftover inch into your collar and pin at the corners. I don't like to sew collars on so I can use it on various things. & VoilĂ !!

To Be Adored

The name fits the clothing perfectly. I've never come across a collection where I literally want every piece. T.B.A. is my overall favorite clothing brand right now. Peter Pan collars, velvet, and delicate sheer tops. I would love nothing more than to work with this company. Binbin McNiven is the genius behind this new brand. She is definitely a huge inspiration for me right now. Here's some photos from her fall 2010 collection:
