I've become enthralled with Maya Deren and her haunting films. As a dancer, poet, writer and photographer, she put all of her incredible creative skill into her avante-garde films. She takes the real world and represents it in the way in which she perceives it. She was incredibly beautiful inside and out. Her art is amazing and a huge inspiration.
